This week we’re cutting firewood for our wood stove and to fuel up the wood-fired hot tub. Come along as we head into the snowy woods on our tracked side-by-side to cut, haul, split, and stack firewood during a February day in the Cariboo.
Awesome adventure on the side by side! Super fun afternoon blasting down the snowy trail, these tracks are amazing! Then we found an apic tobaggoning hill and a cozy spot for lunch and a campfire.
SneakAway to our farm while we install a new driveway gate and fence, and help with the insulation on our parents new house build!
Come along with us to the Horsefly River outside of Williams Lake, BC and explore 3 gorgeous waterfalls! A bumpy adventure up a dirt road takes us to these hidden gems to make some awesome memories swimming in the icy water, exploring a cave carved into the side of the river bed, and enjoying a nice escape to the wilderness. Super quiet spot, we didn't see another person all day, and definitely a destination we will want to go to again!

SneakAway with us for a family day at the lake! We went fishing, splashed around in the canoe and paddleboard, and had delicious campfire pizzas for lunch! Such a great day and I can't wait to go again!
SneakAway with us while we explore historical Quesnel Forks! We check out the ghost town and dive into the history of the families and miners that used to live here. We try some gold panning ourselves and then explore the Bullion Pit Mine. A fantastic day of family adventures and homeschool learning!
In this weeks episode of SneakAway Adventures, we go on an incredible hike to explore Farwell Canyon. This is a breathtaking location and I can't believe we have never been here before! We get to hunt for cactuses along the hike play in the sand, and marvel at the epic views the sand dunes and hoodoos offer at the end of the trail. Wow!
Spring is in full swing here on the farm! Our days are packed with weeding the gardens to prepare for planting, starting seeds, and setting up for baby chicks. Then we take a much needed break and SneakAway to Esler Bluffs for some rock climbing just outside of Williams Lake, BC.
SneakAway with us to the Sunshine Coast while we visit my families cabin on Sakinaw Lake, go for a rainy morning canoe, and hike in to see the epic Skookumchuk Narrows!
Come with us while we take a family road trip from Williams Lake to Sakinaw Lake! We deliver our litter of mini aussie puppies to their families in the lower mainland, check out the Vancouver Zoo, and then travel to my families cabin on Sakinaw Lake on the Sunshine Coast.
SneakAway with us for a peak at what a standard day looks like for us on our little homestead! Fun with 6 week old miniature australian shepherd puppies, milking our goats and caring for the other animals, and homeschooling our 3 kids.
The kids are off to to Grandma's house for the week, and I am home alone to relax, tackle some chores, and re-set for another busy school year!
